Geoffrey has over 10 years progressive professional experience with a proven track record in the delivery of high quality projects in Cultural, Retail, Community, Leisure, Mixed-Use, Commercial, Public Realm, Residential & Bespoke Residential. Throughout his career, Geoffrey has developed a reputation for a high standard of detail, creativity and functionality. Education: Geoffrey has gained a progressive education over a number of areas in architecture. Geoffrey began his Architectural Education, graduating in Architectural Drafting from Pearse College Dublin in 2002, after then graduating with a Degree in Architectural Technology & Conservation from Dublin Institute of Technology in 2007, later then a Masters Degree in Architecture from the University of Dundee, Scotland in 2013. Professional Experience: Geoffrey has gained valuable professional experience becoming particularly adept at coordinating design teams to produce high quality projects while developing strong working relationships with many disciplines. In 2003 working with Niall D. Brennan Architects. From 2005 to 2007 working with Burke Kennedy Doyle Architecture. From 2013 to 2018 working with Darmody Architecture. Geoffrey completed his Diploma in Professional Practice at Dublin Institute of Education and became a Registered Architect awarded by the RIAI in 2016. Geoffrey worked as Consultant Architect to Darmody Architecture for a time in 2018. Geoffrey founded Geoffrey Whelen Architects in 2018.
